Murphy's EG21 Series Electric Gage and EGS21 Series Electric Swichgage® take the electric gage to new heights with proven state of the art technology and reliability. The EG Series' Air Core movement design improves overall operation, lighting, accuracy and installation. These environmentally sealed gages are built with corrosion-resistant materials to exceed rigid SAE J1810 standards, and are known for their high reliability and service. EG Series gages are made with a 2" (51 mm) dial and 2-1/4" (57 mm) diameter face. The strong polyester case carries shock resistant air core movement, and the lens is made of a high impact polycarbonate and includes environmental sealing to keep out damaging condensation.

 

Electric Gages and Swichgage® Instruments for Pressure

murphy.EG.pressureThe EG21 Series Pressure Gages feature an environmentally sealed design, using corrosion-resistant materials that exceed the rigid SAE J1810 standard. The polyester (PBT) impact and weather resistant case, with its convenient screw-on mounting clamp is desirable for marine and other environmentally sensitive applications. The standard bezel is polished 316 stainless steel with both a black, semi-gloss finish and an SAE low profile stainless bezel as options. Lens is clear polycarbonate and UV stabilized.

Murphy uses a black background and white markings. Behind dial lighting causes the white markings to become red when illuminated. These markings are dual-scale with a mirror band to reduce parallax reading errors. Instrument movement and illumination require 12VDC to function. For 24 and 32 volt systems, voltage reducing resistors are built into the electrical wire/connector assembly and supplied with the instrument. Always specify voltage when ordering.

The EG Series and EGS21 Series Pressure Swichgage® instruments are available in 80 psi, 100 psi, 200 psi, 300 psi and 400 psi scales. Models shown above are 100 psi.

The ESPMK Pressure Sender is a 1-wire-to-ground pressure sender for use with electric pressure gages, only available in 400 psi. Mounting off-equipment is recommended.

The ES2PMK Pressure Sender is a 2-wire ungrounded pressure sender for use with electric pressure gages, only available in 400 psi. Mounting off-equipment is recommended.

The ESDP Pressure Sender is a 2-wire ungrounded pressure sender used for driving two (2) electric pressure gages, only available in 100 psi.

The Off-Equipment Mounting Kit allows off-equipment mounting of the ESPM, ES2PM and ESDP pressure senders. Recommended for protection from damaging vibration. Customer supplies hose and fittings. Download the literature below for more information.

ESDT Series Temperature Senders are 2-wire ungrounded temperature senders used for driving two (2) electric temperature gages, available in a 250°F to 300°F range.
