Handheld Combustion Analyzer

Functioning as a durable handheld that easily fits in the palm of your hand or as a case mounted analyzer, the ECOM-D is built with our customers in mind. Powerful magnets on the back of the analyzer allow the technician to work hands free during any combustion analysis for increased efficiency.

 

 

The ECOM-D utilizes the newest technology and world-class engineering to push the limits of what is possible in compact, portable analyzers. Available with up to six sensors, this analyzer is engineered to adapt to our customers individual need, and allows for custom configuration by adding optional features such as a thermal quick-printer for instant documentation, Wi-Fi data transfer and mini-gas cooler for better NOx efficiency at sub-10ppm levels.

How does it work?

Each sensor has a circuit housed within an electrolyte solution and when the target gas is introduced into the sensor, the half reactions (oxidation and reduction) at the electrodes generate a flow of current through the circuit. The voltage drop across the electrodes is measured by the analyzer and corresponds directly to the target gas concentration (i.e., the higher the concentration of gas, the more reactions that take place, the higher the current). In each of the electrochemical sensors we use, there is also a third reference electrode which maintains a baseline potential for increased accuracy.

O2 (0-21%); CO (0-4000 ppm); Gas temperature (0-500°C); Air temperature (0-99°C); Pressure (± 100 hPa); Differential pressure (± 100 hPa).

Options: CO extended range (0-10.000 ppm); CO% measurement (0-63.000 ppm); NO measurement (0-5000 ppm); NO2 measurement (0-1000 ppm); SO2 measurement (0-5000 ppm); H2S measurement (on request); Differential temperature.
