Small Engine Plugs
Denso pioneered Platinum Spark Plugs to the automotive aftermarket. Their designs feature platinum on both the center and ground electrodes, which ensures superior spark performance and maximum spark plug life. The Iridium Long Life plug is the standard for today's high-tech engines, with its revolutionary new 360° laser-welding process. Their patented Iridium alloy is six times harder and eight times stronger than conventional Platinum, producing a dramatic improvement in ignitability and spark plug life. The patented U-Groove spark plug enables complete combustion by allowing the spark to fill the gap created by the U shape, creating a larger and hotter flash front that virtually eliminates excessive fouling and erratic starts caused by poor fuel mixtures. Greater spark energy than ordinary plugs means improved flame travel, producing more complete, consistent, and efficient combustion.
Industrial Gas Plugs
Denso’s Industrial Spark Plug designs include Cross Groove Design, which creates four small electrodes that improve sparking performance and suppresses dispersion in voltage value. Their Unique Iridium Alloy spark plugs offer a high melting point which dramatically improves wear resistance compared to other Iridium plugs. Additionally, Denso developed 360° Laser Welding to create a seal so reliable the electrode resists wear even under the most extreme engine conditions. Natural Gas Plugs
Denso offers an Iridium Saver Spark Plug and rubber boot kit for Cummins ISX12 G & ISL-G engine applications. The protective rubber boot insulates the plug from the harsh engine environment. Combined with a reliable, long lasting Iridium Saver Spark Plug, this kit is the perfect combination for Cummins natural gas engine applications.
