Miratech Ground Access
Miratech’s Ground Access product line is a custom solution with a unique design for large gas compression and power generation engines. Ground Access is a combination catalyst/silencer that allows the housing to set vertically. Ground Access eliminates the need for stands, ladders and platforms, improves overall aesthetics, plus reduces install cost as well as install footprint. The base-mounted, ground-accessible design is the solution for engines from 1,400 to 20,000+ horsepower.
Ground Access utilizes Miratech’s MeC catalyst elements that provide increased durability and catalyst performance from higher air-flow turbulence across the catalyst surface. The MeC catalysts are engineered with an advanced substrate that has multiple turbulent zones, superior stability, better CO reduction and up to a three-year element warranty. It can be designed with extra catalyst tracks to meet future emission needs.

Ground Access Advantage
Miratech catalytic converters are better designed and better built so they work harder, longer, at less cost and with less maintenance than traditional converters. For example, Miratech produces catalyst elements through chemisorption catalyst impregnation. The result? Long-lasting, cost-efficient, poison-resistant performance. Miratech also fabricates its housings with carbon or 304 stainless steel while the Vortex substrate is your assurance of superior thermal durability and mechanical strength.
These combos also utilize Vortex elements which use a revolutionary substrate with static mixing and turbulence to create an element that is more efficient and durable than comparable industrial engine catalysts with a traditional open-foil design. Plus, Vortex elements have a two-year warranty.

The Ground Access brings a wide range of pollutants within compliance and keeps you on the right side of the noncompliance “fine line” by controlling carbon monoxide (CO), volatile organics (VOCs) and other hazardous air pollutants (HAPs), particulates and soot, as well as oxides of nitrogen produced by lean-burn engines. Each unit comes with positive-seal slots for multiple catalyst elements giving you an expandable emissions control capacity. Plus, the Ground Access gives you a wider compliance window for Air-Fuel Ratio Control.

Improved Seal
The improved gasket material in the Ground Access and Vortex substrates eliminates blow-by, sagging and telescoping, and maximizes exhaust-catalyst contact for more efficient emissions control.

Custom Silencing
Ground Access housings give you custom levels of noise abatement. When more noise reduction and structural support for wind and seismic loads are required, ground access is the solution.
